Go to insert on the ribbon,. Go to insert on the ribbon, click on the header icon and then select edit header. Select insert on the ribbon then header or footer (2) select edit header (3) select your preferred options.

I was looking around to find a way to have a new letterhead with a logo as a template. Go to the insert tab. Hi there, first time in the forum.

I can accomplish one or the other just fine, but doing both creates a problem. Locate the design located under the title header & footer tools check the box different first. If you mean that the file you received is a.docx (document) rather than a.dotx (template), then you can open the.docx and use the file > save as dialog to make a copy with the.dotx extension.
Go to insert on the ribbon,. Once you’re done editing, you can close the header. In the header & footer group, click on the header command.
